Line Dancer: Trinity is not the same that many gods pagans worshiped. Trinity is not polytheistic concept, but that is when you believe there is many gods.

Line Dancer: You need to stop that name calling. I do not tolorate that on my questions.

OF COURSE you count three gods because your organization is programmed you to do so.

Count for yourself it is not 1+1+1, it is 1x1x1. Simple as that.

I'm still wondering when their light is gonna get brighter on the subject of the Trinity and Adam being saved.

Are you willing to adjust THOSE beliefs? Or are you gonna "hold on to them"?

They claim Christmas has pagan origins, yet they think we actually celebrate what it originated from rather than what it changed to. If pagans celebrate Easter (which they do) does that mean they share a paganistic holiday?

Yes. That brings us closer to the truth. A number of religions have encyclopedias that admit the trinity and holidays like Christmas are wrong, but they still practice paganism.

Look! Unsliced Ham strikes again! With Pedi C close behind. Is this an apostate reunion or what?

The trinity is polytheistic. In it, there is a fully God the Father, a fully God the Son, and a fully God the holy spirit. Count the gods. I count THREE. How about you?

If you count ONE God, then your belief is based, NOT on the Bible, but on the Catholic Athanasian Creed, which says: "The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are not Three Gods, but One God."

they don't have enough sense to be embarassed. I wonder how they can hold everyone else accountable for their actions but choose to swallow anything fed to them by their leadership, with no accountability.

scientific changes have a quantifiable measure and can't even be compared to the doctrinal changes wrought by the Governing Body over the last hundred years. the changes in religious doctrine are just whimsical puppetmastery of the governing body over their charge.

The Governing Body will be called to Judgement by God for their intrusion and manipulation of the lives of those in their care. I would not care to be in their shoes on that day.

Edit: Linedancer, I will say a special prayer for you to come under God's true love and out of the bondage that makes you so bitter. God bless.

Embarrassment? No!!
My classmates (non-JW) seem embarrassed when they have to admit that even THEY realise that many things their churches teach are not true but remain official dogma.

Scientists over the centuries have realised their error and set out new scientific laws according to new studies , no one says "Let's no longer listen to them!!"

Everyone respects someone who admits having made a mistake.

They are followers of that organization and they know that all the brothers and sisters are in the same boat. They will adjust.

Shane, oh yeah? What about all that dead lives left behind when you threw the wrong old beliefs out of the kingdom door? Are you for sure, for sure that the "free will suicide" dead lives are not going to be "eternal death sentence"? Taking ones own life is a fact that God Almighty forbids it. Since you all are in the "agreement" with that...........too bad, its ALL your SINS. Blood stain hands. Better repent and make it right before its to late, and the doors get shut.

Apparently they are not embarrassed at all. The typical reaction is the "ostrich approach"--stick one's head in the sand and act like none of it even happened so they can remain blissfully in denial.

Shane, I wonder when you are ready for the whole truth. I see you guys following her and acting the way that make YOU to look really bad. I personally would be very embarrassed if I had to follow so many changes form my "only true" organisation" who claim to be God's mouth piece! Or maybe the organisation's hearing aid is OFF!

I do not think they feel embarrassed they accept an explanation of what they are told, and continue to be blinded by untruths, unrealistic expectations, and fear of loosing what they have been told to believe in.

I'm very thankful because it shows we are striving for better understanding of the bible. It shows that as the truth becomes clearer, we make the adjustment, not stubbornly hold on to false teachings. Otherwise we would be like you and still believe in hellfire, the trinity, be involved in politics, and be unclean in a spiritual sense.
