At least the skeptics after embracing such a theory, check out the facts and found it was a hoax. Unlike the alarmist who rushed to embrace a flawed theory on temperature reconstruction (the hockey stick graph), because it fit their dogma. Even though it has been proved to be a flaw, you still embrace it. What is more the study was done with the purpose of creating alarm.

No, they were wrong all along. The bacteria story was a hoax.
