the old testament has been re-written and is not the direct word of god, the monkeys threw a spanner in the works and laws got changed to suit mans desires and then we have the new testament which by all appearances seems to be as corrupt as a whore in a nunnery, then we have the miracle AL QURAN which is the word of god in its entirety and a true guidance to humankind, so to answer your question the old testament is a fallible work that now contains lies placed there by some old geezer for his own ends, so no my brother it is not the word of god, it is only partially true, hope that helps , all praise to Allah
