Obviously we won't have much time to cook and things like that! Just looking for ideas! We just want something we can prepare, pull out of the freezer and cook up!

I made a pile of plain crepes. Freeze them with sheets of wax paper inbetween each; they freeze and re-heat (in microwave or frying pan) wonderfully.

You can smush some jam and squirt some ready-made whipped cream on one for a quick dessert, roll one around some cheese and cooked veg (or just about any leftover...)

Spaghetti sauce, soups and stews all freeze really, really well. Just put them in tupperware and freeze them. Then all you have to do is pop the lid off and put them in the microwave. And all you need on the side is noodles or bread.

My mom has cancer and one of the things my husband did was make an entire freezer full of spaghetti sauce and lasagna for her. She said they were awesome because they're so easy to warm up that my teenage brother can heat them up before my dad gets home from work.

These days you can freeze just about anything. They also have frozen foods that are healthy for you so you don't have to worry about eating junk food.

If you have any type of tupperware or anything like that, you can even cook spaghetti and freeze it. It's great if you throw it in a frying pan with some butter.

You can pre-cook meat, or just about anything, freeze it, then remove and cook. We freeze chili, soup, and just about everyone.

Congrats and good luck!

I did this twice before!

-Pot Pie
-Lasagna
-Meatballs and sauce - freeze in smaller batches- you can do quick spaghetti and meatballs (just boil pasta) or make meatballs sandwiches in a pinch
-soups
-pasta primavera
- you can even make a batch of brownies and freeze those. They freeze great and you'll be happy to thaw them out when you have company and want a treat. Cut them into squares before freezing and defrost whatever portion you want. Other breads and muffins work well here too.
