notion that The Watchtower is "God's organization" and to see the Watchtower instead as a pretentious human institution?

Michelle Chang: Another of your non answers. I am not anti JW, I am anti JW doctrines.

You do not like your doctrines questioned, maybe because you just would like people to belive all the outrageous claims your organization has.

I believe in free will. We all have the choice to make.

helped me. Ray Franz comes across humbly and thoughtfully in his explanation of the chain of events that led to his leaving the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses. I recommend it.

For the most part, it's probably false. Unfortunately from what I've seen, ex-JWs leave because of the way that they're treated, not because of any theological differences. Hating the Watchtower only helps those who hate the Watchtower.

False.

The author's unrepentance for his serious sin shows that he is "bad association", and true Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) prefer to avoid socializing intimately with bad associates.

(1 Corinthians 15:33-34) Do not be misled. Bad associations spoil useful habits. Wake up to soberness in a righteous way and do not practice sin

It seems rather obvious that cozying up for hours of reading would involve "associating" with the author of the reading material. There is little chance that a Jehovah's Witness will read the writings of the author mentioned in this question.

Haven't read the book yet, but there is plenty of information out there that exposes this man made religion for what it sadly is...nothing more than a cult. Many are beginning to use their critical thinking skills again and becoming aware of what the JWs and many others are all about. Fear is what's stopping many from leaving.

Anything and everything about religion is man created. God only exists in the believers mind and no other place. Net real and never has been.

Religion is a device that a few use to control the many. It seems to have worked very well. A few such as the Vatican dictate to the many and the many do as told to do

Legal Mafia in many ways.

I would be curious to know how many JWs have actually read the book and still sayed at the organization.

Nina, I think your questions are good. It is understandable they insult you. I hope you block Michelle for a while, she does not really give you answers. She is the one who is spewing hatered, who knows who she is.
