im 14 and ive never done drugs,sex Ect.
but my older brother almost died from drugs and my parenst fear i will turn out like him. i cant even walk my friend home who lives 3 min away from my house. what should i do?

Try and talk to your parents about how you feel. Understand that it's completely out of love for you that they placed all these rules on you from their fear of losing another child. You can volunteer to take random drug tests whenever your parents want to since they can buy one at the pharmacy any time. That may help their fear of being lied to in the drug area. Don't ever lie to them about anything or it will screw up the trust factor. Try and open up to them about your feelings in all areas of your life so they feel connected to you. Soon they will see that you are not your brother and that the two of you have very different opinions about sex, drugs, school etc. Hang in there. Things will get better. Just open up to them and don't shut them out or withdrawl from them like your brother probably did. Those are the signs that your child is in trouble and they will not let you have any kind of life unless they feel comfortable that you make right choices.

Theres nothing u can do, even talking about it w/ them is not gonna change their minds...their worried so all u can do is prove to them that they can trust u and thats it...take it a day at a time.

Be close to them.
Show them you can be trusted - never lie.
It will take time for them to see you're OK.

Don't do anything bad that will make you untrustworthy. They don't want to loose you to drugs.
