I could hear a lump, lump sound from the front of my car. I thought it was a bubble in the tire, but after replacing them and finding there was no probs with the tires, I found out it is the strut that need replacing. The car has 110k miles.

Yes the struts could be worn out! Rear shock struts when new were noisy most were replaced. Get four replaced and car realigned once.

first of all i could call a pair motor vehicle section shops and price the struts in the previous you do something. this provide you with a final analysis on what they are going to cost you for exertions - the 50-70 for alignment. $1200 seems slightly intense for struts. I did only a sprint of study and that i got here across them on basic for 60-70 in line with strut and that i got here across the KYB struts for sixty 9.ninety 9 a strut. i could do the artwork myself if I have been you all you choose is a coil compressor and a few basic hand kit. So all in all they have been charging you $900 exertions on a job that takes much less then 2 hrs to end.
