Please gather together and form a search party, apparently this Jesus guy is lost again. I have not seen him so please stop asking me if I have found Jesus yet! Where did you get the idea it was my job to look for him?

I always wonder why the Christians need to find their God, while other religions never lose their deities...

I've always thought that saying to be utterly ridiculous. The Jesus I know was never lost!!

I found Jesus. When I helped my father battle cancer, and then when I lost him.
It's not that people "Lose" Jesus, it's that people leave him out of their lives. Sad really. Then they forget HIM. But he won't forget you.
I would rather live believing and die to find out he doesn't exist, then live as an unbeliever, to die and find that he does exist.

You've been looking in the wrong places if at all.
"Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon." is 55:6,7
