You should only breed the Chihuahua based on a few things.

1. you know how to breed a dog and be able to supervise the pregnancy properly and be able to handle medical emergencies.

2. you have the money to care for a pregnant mom and her pups when they're born.

3. you are not breeding mixed puppies. Especially if you're a first time breeder. You could be doing more harm than good.

4. If you have to ask when a Chiwawa can have puppies (Its actually Chihuahua) and you don't actually know...

you haven't done enough research and you shouldn't breed the dog.

You need to read books on the heat cycle, on the breed's health issues during pregnancy, on how long a dog will be pregnant and what kind of care the puppies will need to survive.

If you don't come into it knowing the age a female dog is able to safely have puppies...

you're off to a very bad start.... so you should quit while you're not ahead until you do more indepth research that goes deeper than "She's old enough, lets get her pregnant."

Considering the fact that you cant even spell CHIHUAHUA tells me you know NOTHING about them and shouldnt be breeding. This world does not need anymore dogs. Why dont you go for a quick tour through your local animal shelter. You'll see dozens of homeless animals waiting to be euthanized. Now tell me you want to breed your "chiwawa"

Why would you want to breed your chihuahua? Visit the local animal shelters and ask to see the one that are on death row for that day, then ask yourself, is that where you would want any of the puppies to end up? Have her spayed! The only reason to breed any dog is to improve the breed, and since you can't even spell the breed correctly, I doubt if you know the first thing about proper care and breeding, next you will be on here asking for help because your dog is in labor and can't have them and want to know how to do a c-section.

I'm with Aravyndr ... you are clearly not prepared to breed dogs. If you cannot even spell the breed's name, you should seriously give this second thoughts. Backyard breeding is unacceptable and irresponsible. Breeding requires years of research, studying the breed history, temperment, health defects, geneology, etc. PLEASE do not breed your dog just because your neighbour has one as well - this is why there are so many unwanted dogs in shelters. People do not put the time and effort into breeding and end up with puppies they are not prepared to care for. Get your dog spayed and keep her as a pet.

First of all, "chiwawa" is "Chihuahua". If you are not showing your Chihuahua, don't breed her. She's friend with another dog doesn't mean you need to breed her. It's expensive to have a litter. Please spay her.

When you can spell the breed correctly. Since you have to ask, you should do your dog a favor and get it fixed. You obviously have no idea what you're doing.
