So in the end of August, my great uncle died of pancreas cancer. It is not like I was that close to him, but I loved him. Then in the beginning of October, my favorite cat ever, ran away. I LOVED THAT CAT TO DEATH! Then yesterday, my great aunt died on the other side of the family, I wasn't to close to her either, but again, I LOVED HER! I didn't cry for any of them! I was so sad, but no tears could come out. I wasn't holding them back, they just never came! WHY NOT!

Everybody handles grief differently. Don't expect yourself to behave in a certain way.
Just because you did not cry, does not mean you did not have real feelings of sadness.
There is a good chance that the tears will come at an unexpected time........like when there is an empty place at Thanksgiving.

The thing about death is that it really isn't all tears afterwards. It's more like shock. There's a bunch of akwad feelings too, especially if you didn't know them too well. As for your cat, maybe you weren't really ready to cry. Maybe it was just a shock that caused you to not really know what to do.

You shouldn't feel bad that yur not crying, the people that passed wouldn't want you to cry, would they? Maybe that's another reason you're not crying, you realize that it really doesn't mean to much and nobody would ever ant you to.

A lot of people harvest their grief inside of them and let it out in a later period. Like for instance, when a loved member of my church passed, I didn't cry but just wished I would've paid more attention to her. Then when my Great-Grandma was in the hospital for a minor stomachache, I just cried and cried because the member of my church had passed in a hospital and that had triggered my internal grief box (yeah that's what I call it :P). So either you cry or you don't...At least you don't laugh!
Hope it helps! ^.^

Well, the answer you already have it on your own..the relatives that passed again, you were not close to them, that is the big difference between someone from your immediate family, I always call the far away family that all I know is that they exist, I call them relatives, and I call family, the ones that are close to me. I don't want to be mean or cruel but when one of my relatives passes away, well..... I just feel bad, but that's it, I don't cry, there were no relation between them and I, so, to me it's hard to cry when there's no pain, I am sorry, but it's true.
Now, from my immediate family, oh God! I don't even want to think about it.....I'll die too!!!!
Sorry, about your losses, and also sorry for that cat, but maybe the cat left after a good looking cat, don't worry! your cat is fine.

If you loved them, you grieve because of a loss but grieving may not always be shown in tears. In your heart you may realize that one day you will see them again and in love be reunited and there is no need to grieve but rather being glad of this fact.

nicely if anybody in eco-friendly Day awakened ineffective i could be depressed for weeks. And if The Mark, Tom, And Travis tutor left i could actually weep. while Gerard way is going away And Mikey jumps into the bay while Damon Albarn slowly dies i would be unhappy for days. i desire all of them die peacfully, no suicide or murders. i desire all of them die previous and of their sleep. does no longer that be greater valuable if all of us died like that. previous and of their sleep.

everyone deals with death differently and you just don't cry. Don't get confused with love and like. Is it wrong not to cry? No.

You might be depressed- detached from your emotions.

I don't know- I cried when my dog died but not when my uncle did and I cared about him, too.
