Hey everyon! im 15, and I liked to know where can I volunteer to gain medical experience? I volunteer in the past for breast cancer walks and so on, but I liked to volunteer in a hospital, medical center and so on. Please anything will help, thank you! and god bless!

I was just like you last year. My cousin used to volunteer at the hospital so she sign me up. I think you can go to the hospital website and call the hospital. I believe every hospital has a teen volunteering department. Now I am also doing a Medical Explorer. It is hosted by boy scout. Medical Explorer is basically let you learn more about what kind of job you want.

Most Hospitals have programs for volunteers your age, I am a volunteer myself, currently working in the surgery waiting room, I also have worked in physical therapy and alot of other jobs as there are more to do than there are volunteers. Most hospitals have a volunteer services department just for people like you. Call the hospital and ask them about it.

Walk in the front door of your nearest hospital and tell them that you want to volunteer. They will direct you to whomever is in charge of recruiting volunteers. Good luck!
