Typically it is Christian on Christian and It makes me dig deep and try to prove them wrong. If I were proved wrong, I would change my beliefs. To me, debate isn't slander, it helps in seeking the ultimate truth. If it can be Biblically proven to me, I will accept it, but it has to be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. I have been through a ton of religions because of debate, I think it has made me a better person.

Greetings all,
Slander beliefs or faith? It is like this. The Truth will slander every religion on the earth! The Truth man has so desperately tried to find and instead have settled with theories, rationalizations and stories about the ancient forefather's teachings, doctrine, traditions, commandments and beliefs beginning with Israel.
The Truth does not need any faith to be The Truth or to be believed. The Truth cannot be believed and will not be believed. The devil thrives on faith to exist! The devil wants man to believe in their religions they hold so dear so he can eat them for lunch! Especially Christians!
2/3 of God Himself appeared out of nowhere as His own Son to condemn Israel and their Pharisees and Sadducees as the devil worshipers they were and still are. Israel murdered that flesh that The Word part of God was because they were too proud to admit they knew NOTHING about the scriptures.
Now every time someone confesses Jesus as Lord believing He is God as Jehovah! The devil deceives another ignorant being preprogrammed by his religions. As well as murdering Our Brother Jesus Christ over and over again!
There is a whole other God and Jesus Christ, my brothers and sisters and man has NEVER EVER NEVER known either, so all you that say, "Oh I know God or I know Jesus" are fooling yourselves and you will see what the Real Truth is and that is the LORD God, Jehovah of Israel is the devil!
The Brother of Jesus Christ, Prince Abdullah Ahad Ruhd Shihn

Unfortunately, I tend to take it personally. (It is something I want to stop) However I have heard people say, when others slanders you, they are really slandering God Himself.
There are many examples of people who did have a love for those who slandered them. Stephen (the first martyr) Acts 7 : 54 - 60, Paul the Apostle, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and even Jesus wept for Jerusalem, because they would not believe. Luke 19 : 41 - 44

No one can slander my faith because I have none in regard to "higher power".
However, I would never stoop to praying for my adversaries, that is a waste of energy.
Those precious so-called truths are only true to the person beliving in them, they are not absolute truths.
And I only feel sorry for people who can't take any responisbility for their own actions.

I feel sorry for them for being ignorant and misled. Anyway, I still respect them and will search deeper into my own and their faiths.
Just because someone slanders your faith, it doesn't mean that they are your adversaries. They simply choose to voice their opinions here in Y!A, while the others choose not to do so. Moreover, people who slanders others' faiths actually only satisfy their own egos, but NOT glorify God.

Do not disheart your self because Almost all Holy Prophets went through this process much harder way and abused by people of ignorant of their times. But Prophets and Messengers showed tremendous strength and took firm stand what they supposed to say and preached what they supposed to preached according to The will of God Almighty. Keep doing good things including spreading Truth and Message of Peace from True Natural Religion.

I wonder that God knows that we all know Him as He wants us to know Him. I think that because we are imperfect and live in different realities, He's revealed himself into those realities. He knows all, is all, and needs no creation. Like He said, "I am who I am." We gotta accept it. I feel that we know this Infinite Spirit individually, but follow along as He permits us so as to get to know Him in our imperfect state. So, I believe in Him as a Roman Catholic and constantly ask Him to let me know Him. I don't feel sorry for anyone because it is a journey that we are all along as our will desires. It is like a race, some of us are faster and some of us are slower (that's me). I can not judge, only our creator can. Even atheist have a god, but its probably an imperfect earthly god. Throughout all (an absolute) humanity and throughout history there has been an idea of someone or something that is Above.
Prayer means to talk to our creator, your journey determines what this means. Faith, Hope, and Charity guide me. Others are guided by other things, in the end which we all get there (another absolute) we will know Him as He allowed us to know Him or not know him.....

I would be more inclined to drive a truck over them, but, hey! that's just me. But, of course, I wouldn't do that, I have ethics.
NOTHING is more foul than a person who slanders, another persons faith, under the 'guise' of telling them ''the truth''. I always wonder 'whose' truth is being told.'
And of course, they always 'hit and run'. they NEVER have the courage, or 'testicular fortitude',( to quote my favorite wrestler, Mick Foley,) to say what their religion is, to hold up, as a shining example.
My theory is, that they just don't want to say what church they go to, because they are such low lives, and that they learned this lovely habit of 'bashing 'other religions, at church.
Especially when they slam dunk, the Mormons,(LDS)., or Jehovah Witnesses.
And these are christians?

It doesn't bother me for some one who doesn't even know me, to slander my faith. They are judging me without having ever met me, and calling me names because of their ignorance. Because they can't change how I feel. I just wish that some people would be a little bit more mature and respect that I have the right to my faith, just as they have a right to their non belief.

I feel sorry for them, and I want to pray for them. I don't need to search deeper, the truth is there for me. I hope before fire rains down upon them they discover the truth.
