Self-forgiving? How on earth do you forgive yourself. Everything I've done I've done because I thought it was best at the given time. I've nothing to forgive myself for.

I forgive myself only after I make a correction in my spiritual ideas, my spiritual training techniques, my diet, or whatever I can think of, that may have mess up my state of mind, so that I did not act as well as, I thought I should have. My focus is obviously very much in the spiritual area.

Very. If God's mercies fall fresh every morning, and they DO, why shouldn't mine? Apologizing for mistakes and letting others off the hook when they trespass against you is the key to having peace. Try it.
