the Holidays? Apparently red and green lights stand for Christmas and exclude other holidays. Does anyone think this is ridiculous especially since Christmas is a national Holiday? Did you know 90% of Americans say they celebrate Christmas? Does that mean the USA is now 90% Christian or is it possible that non-Christians are also enjoying this Holiday?

Also, do you think the city should remove the traffic lights, since they have red and green?

Have a great night!

I do believe it was Fort Collins and I heard it on television this morning. It could have been CNN or FOX as I was switching channels.

Pangloss - Did I ever say or even suggest that this had anything to do with private property? I clearly said city. Please read again carefully.

I'm not Christian at all and I celebrate Christmas. A lot of my friends are non-Christian and they all celebrate the holiday.

That's stupid to ban any items from any holiday. If someone is so offended by a holiday that's not their's, they need to get over it and stop acting so childish.

Only people that are babies want to ban holiday decorations.

EDIT: Also, HAHAHA guess what? Most street lights, which are predominantly red and green, are on city property! LOL

Oh yeah! In Chicago we gottem everywhere. I have been given nabbed as quickly as for an intersection I do bypass sometimes, yet do no longer remember violating. yet months later I have been given a letter from the city interior the mail with a cost tag interior; secure have been 3 photographs of my motor vehicle: a % up of my registration code a shot of the front of my motor vehicle crossing the pedestrain line; one pink easy a shot of my finished motor vehicle flying with the aid of the bypass; 3 pink lighting fixtures i could dispute no longer something! you already know while your busted on the scene by way of fact on the 2d you bypass too late, a stunning white easy from the cameras blazes the intersection I as quickly as observed 3 vehicles in a row run a pink arrow to coach left, you're able to've concept it became the 4th of July!

Do you ever wonder why you only read these things on World Net Daily and not say, The NY Times or why you never see it mentioned on network T.V.?
I don't.
Now I wonder what a fake news site on the Internet would gain by keeping Christians outraged about being "under attack"?

Here is the actual newspaper cited in the article. There is no mention of banning red and green lights on it. What a surprise!

Here is the actual measure passed, which includes white and colored lights. And of course, no where does it state you can not decorate your house however you see fit.

I hear Brent council is forcing everyone to wear turbans over Christmas so as 'not to offend Muslims'. It's political correctness gone mad!

It would be cool to have Magenta, Lavender and Chartreuse traffic lights. Come on, you have to agree.
