I have heard that people have to swear on their religious books. What do they use for Atheists, the US constitution? Or is there a special procedure?
I started to discuss this with friends and we got really curious about it.

People can either put their hand on it (the bible) or you can just hold your hand up and swear to tell the truth.

Name another book that people look up to. I'm not arguing religion, I'm just talking about a symbol. I know of people who claim to be Christians, would place their hand on the Bible and lie out their butts. But if your an atheist why worry, just a book.

I don't think swearing on the bible happens anywhere but in movies.

No books, no documents, just "swear or affirm", for everyone.
