It never ceases to amaze me the number of times these type of questions appear, the plain fact of the matter is no one can contact the dead.

They are all charlatans only after your money, they are worse than grave robbers.

If they can contact the dead why don't they get a description from the six women murdered by Jack the Ripper, why don't they contact the crew of the Mary Celeste and ask them what really happened that night, the list is endless.

If you want to learn more about paranormal claims, look up csicop on google, it is the committee for scientific claims into the paranormal and for many years have had a $1,000,000 challenge for anyone who can prove any paranormal powers, it has never been seriously challenged.

People who make these outrageous claims invariably say they don't do it for money or other such lies. I say to them, take up the challenge, win the money if you can and give it tochildren in need or other worthwhile charity, they don't because they can't.

I have not had one reply to this challenge even though I enter a leter like this to psychics and spiritualists every day.

You will be okay and you may take a long time to get over your friends death. It is never easy when someone dies. I have always hated going to funerals. My mom use to tell me that when someone dies that if you can touch the person that has died then you will no longer be afraid. My dad passed away and I touched my dad for the first time and now I am no longer afraid of death and funerals don't bother me as much as they use to. I use to be a nervous wreck going to see someone when they are dead. They now look like they are at peace. You will be okay and if you will try to have someone go with you to be there for you. That is what always helps me. Sorry about losing your friend.

I went to a spiritualist church four days after my dad had passed away and i got a reading from the speaker who said my dad had come through. All the proof given to me was true so I have no reason to doubt the speaker was making it up as it was stuff that only i knew of. Spirit came come through at anytime, there is no set time to come through to someone, sometimes they never come through. Bless.

Depends how they've passed.If they have a sudden or tragic death they need time to recover.I go to spiritualist churches aswell and been told this many times.

All forms of spiritualism, channeling, mediums, etc. are condemned in the bible as being evil.

Whatever those people are channeling, it is not the spirit of the deceased, and it is a practice not to be fooled around with.

The soul is at its final destination, not wandering around like in the movie "ghost".

it has been known yes ... but quite rare
generally a Spiritualist wont read for someone who is recently bereaved
but if they were to read for another medium or someone who understands spirit ... then yes they may be able to speak with someone just recently passed
my own experiences have been 3 days at the very least though
