Have you ever bought a straightener off Ebay, and did everything go well?

I'm thinking of buying a Chi straightener, since they seem to be quite a bit cheaper -- but my skeptical self says there is probably a catch...

Yes, I bought a Chi straightener a few years ago from Ebay. It was in good condition, etc. I chose a seller w/ high ratings.

However, with all the fake products out their I'm not sure I'd do it again now. Remember that fake brand name toothpaste that had to be taken off the shelves at dollar stores?

I haven't but a word of advice; is make sure the plug end will fit into the plug on the wall.
As some are different. So maybe ask for a picture of the plug and compare it to the one on the wall.

Also, read their feedback and see if you can find some people leaving feedback about purchasing their straightener.

Good luck to you anyway, I'm also contemplating about getting one off eBay.

I bought one it was a pink chi an it was all in good condition.... had no problems it lasted a long time until i dropped it considering it was ceramic the plates broke:(

I bought straightener off eBay, well my mom did, and we e-mailed the seller and asked them if there were any defects, she was glad to tell us no, and she was right!

yeah! i offered the terrific ingredient some years in the past from ebay. somebody grew to become into attempting to enhance money to pass vacationing and he grew to become into merchandising all his property and that i offered some 'pirate' letters from him.... they have been letters his mate had despatched him years in the past, and there grew to become into an address interior the kit so i wrote to it and we've been penpals ever when you consider that. it is phenomenal!!
