Okay lets calm down. Did she get caps or fillings? Caps are not mercury. Even so, millions of people have mercury. No one really knows for sure how dangerous they are, which means they are obviously not that bad. Most adults have them and are all alive and mostly well. Since she is a child she will get new teeth in their place, and even so, adults can get mercury fillings removed and replaced with non mercury ones. So there really is no reason to worry. Stop reading those websites, you will be deathly scared of everything. If it was so unsafe, it would not be legal since there are alternatives. How should you go about what? Fixing her teeth was the right thing to do, it needs to be done. And some people just have bad teeth or bad luck and that's why they need teeth filled as children. So you didn't do anything wrong. I don't know how old they are but pay attention to things like ingestion of soda but not also that fruit juices are sugary and acidic too and damage teeth.

Both of my daughters had a baby tooth capped with a silver cap and they came out just like any other loose tooth. Don't worry.

Is it a baby tooth? Baby molars are lost early teens or preteens.... you're probably just losing one of those, and the silver cap is coming off w/ the tooth. Ask yoru mom.

well i dont think you should be. my lil brother is 10 and he got a cap and it came out. the dentist said just to let it go because he would have been going to lose that tooth. just dont eat corn on the cob or apples for the time being at least till it comes out.

Forget about it. It's supposed to come out. You can pull it yourself if it is loose enough and save the silver. A reminder of when you were a little kid.
