When we want to get rid of body fat, there is no way to specifically burn fat from one part of the body. Doing situps won't burn the fat that is covering your abs and doing tricep extensions won't get rid of the fat that is covering your triceps. The only thing you can do is lose weight all around and eventually the problem area will also improve. The way to burn fat is through a calorie restricted diet in conjunction with an exercise routine that will burn calories. Activities that burn calories include running, biking, swimming and other high intensity activities.

Cardio exercise does not focus on one part of your body. In order to shrink your belly, you'll have to do a mix of cardio and ab exercises. You can go to www.exercisetv.tv to find a few ab workouts that last only 10 minutes, but do the job. Doing those plus walking or running, or -my personal fave- dancing around your room should help with your problem.
As an added note, you should look for the ten minute standing ab exercise routine; you'll never have to get on your back to do crunches again! All videos are free from the site listed above.

When you lose weight, you lose it all around and not just in your spot of choice. You can lose weight by burning more calories than you consume. And if you want to get that sexy stomach looking great and toned, I recommend using an exercise ball and working the core. I know you said you dont have any equiptment, but if you were going to get something, get a ball because they are cheap and super effective- more effective than just regular situps and crunches.

easiest question I've ever answered : Walking!!!!! Go walk (briskly) 4-5 miles a day. Runnings better, but walking works. I lost thirty pounds, didn't change anything about my diet. Just lost my car and had to walk to work.

sit ups are really good to destroy belly fat , but I think crunches are better. Crunches are when you just lift your head and shoulders then hold it for 10 secs its really effective.
