I didn't ask you to be rude...it was just a simple question.

Yes. I hate to wade through 100 quotations. A few quotes is fine, just to support your points, but those people who end up with pages of answer are not likely to have a big influence on the skeptic.

frank: why is it an absolute? From my adventure, no longer something is an absolute. your finished argument is predicated around the bible. What does it grow to be as quickly as we seem on the bible as only yet another e book? for that's what it is. it is given ability by making use of its followers. The goodness in humanity is god. God isn't some supernatural rigidity judging all of humanity. it is a guy or woman assisting an outdated lady with a heavy field. Donations to the undesirable. The stable assisting the vulnerable out of organic kindness. God exists in humanity, interior the stable deeds we do. isn't this sufficient for you? why does there could desire to be a hell? or a heaven? the evil are punished. A rich guy who's evil could have as many things as he needs, yet he won't in any respect be happy. isn't that hell sufficient? Our society does not choose the assumption of an all-powerful being anymore! we are previous the looming shadow we created to maintain ourselves in line. we are able to our very own singular morality. The bible grew to become right into a crutch that stored the international status. Now we as an entire have grown out of that crutch, and we are able to stand tall and proud on our very own 2 ft.

If they quote a few verses, I'm OK with it. However, I hate when people copy and paste stuff that translates to about 7 pages on MS Word.

WOW, a whole 10,000 quotes in ONE answer?! I'm so absolutely amazed, I have never once in the 2 years that I've been on this forum seen that many quotes in one answer.

It would seem to me, if someone ask a question about the bible- what other thing would one refer to...but to post scripture? Another words -if someone is learning to drive and needs a questions answered, it would be wise to answer from a drivers book.

You believe the bible! Really!! Do you actually believe in talking snakes? Do you think that God really created the world in 6 days and its only 6000 years old? Do you condone slavery in the same way the bible does? Do you think that women should be treated as second class citizens? Do you think it was good that God committed mass murder during Noah's flood and by killing the firstborn in every household in Egypt?

How can anyone believe that? Its complete nonsense.

funny, cause i see that stuff every day. it's retarded. It's okay to believe, but those folks that fire away verse after verse need to just uh....

delete the word files with the verses on them?

I mean, please. my vision's pretty good, but it's rediculous to have to scroll down that much shat.

so yeah, any bible quoter that reads this, your big quotes of verses ARE Rants, and can be reported.

Later.

As an atheist, I find it relevant to do so from time to time to show people their own hypocrisy. When they try to shove scripture down my throat, I retaliate by posting (copy and paste only!) verse that's completely reverse in idealology than the one they used to prove I would burn in hell.
It's one of my favorite hobbies.

I am Chrtistian, but do prefer a comment on the verse instead of many verses. Some exposition, please! Show me you really do know what you are speaking about instead of merely throwing me the verses. Tie it in! Make application!
