I'm italian but I guess it might be rather boring for you to correspond with somebody much, much older than you (click on my profile for yr checking ....!!).
If you don't mind feel free emailing me and I'll be happy helping you.
I speak also Spanish (and French) and I can suggest you not to believe other answerer saying to give up Italian for a while otherwise you'll mix it with Spanish. That's absolutely NOT TRUE !

PS - Why in yr nickname Italia is written with 2 "t" ?

Well, since that guy said that he hasn't spoke Italian fluently in 6 years, I can help you. I am in my 5th Year AP Italian. So, I am still learning but mostly fluent. Another student would be more helpful i believe =] E-mail me anytime.

yes. i speak spanish and italian fluently. but as a suggestion..i would hold off on learning italian..as of the words and phrases tend to sound similar to spanish and end up confusing you completely. it would be wise to learn another language and THEN come back to italian. no doubt, it's a beautiful language...but it can mess you up dreadfully when you mix words in from spanish.
