As mentioned earlier by other the best time to recite the prayers is on time. But you want to know how long the individual prayer is valid. There is simple formula for that, it’s mentioned in Quran. Fajr prayers is at sunrise and it last for only 1 hour not more than that after the specified time it becomes kaaza. Dhur prayers starts when the sun is on his highest point that means exactly above you there is a small shadow of your self visible. Asr is half way from the time of Dhur and Maghrib prayers so once you know the Dhur and Maghrib time midway you have Asr you can pray that up to 20 min before Maghrib time. Maghrib prayers is when you can see on the sky a red line and it’s just valid as long as the red light is there once disappeared you will have to pray kaaza. Isha time is when the darkness has come in you can pray this prayers up to midnight. But as said the best time to pray is on waqt time. Please do not follow the timetable of islamicfinder as the timetable is wrong please find herewith attached a website which explains why. May Allah guide us all to the right path (Ameen). Your brother in Islam.

Salam

22.5hrs for you and the 1.5hrs of the day for Allah SWT I think its a very good deal indeed don't you?
It was 50 prayers a day, thank Allah SWT for Musa and Muhammed SAW for giving us the grace Amin.

Its not how long it is each time, its if your comfortable with what you have done. Salat is not the first time done by us and its not the last time it needs clairifcation. Those around you in the best of examples are who you should be praying like. As for the Dua, the best dua is the one from your heart.
If your praying just for the sake of it, well don't pray.

Muhammed SAW said if you don't know your deen then don't pray! That was given order long ago, and it didn't mean don't pray, it ment you need to learn the deen which is more important than Salat and Salat was established in heaven with the Angels so you know how important that is.

When one stands in front of the Lord of the Worlds, its really strange to time yourself. Are you doing it as a chore or a favor? Forget the universe and become one with the creator, clear your mind from EVERYTHING and focus on one thing: that you are standing in front of an entity that is running this universe and what's beyond 24-7! And take your time reciting the prayer, you are not on a time limit. If you don't do this, you are just banging your forehead on the floor, really. And disrecpecting the prayer and The Lord. During a war Ali, the prophet's son-in-law had been struck by an arrow, he advised that when he goes into sagdaa (ruku) then they should pull it out. Got it muslims?!

Salaamz sister,

I am a s...l...o...w reader! It takes me forever lol. But each prayer usually takes a person 5-20 minutes depending on which one it is. Fajr is the shortest, takes about 5 minutes but Isha is the longest so will probably take 15-20 minutes.

Salaam 'Alaikum wa Rahmatullah,
The time for one prayer lapses when the next prayer time begins. It is best to do it as soon as possible after the time has started, however, and not to wait. I have the adhan downloaded in my laptop and it gets exact times. You can get them from websites like Islamicity or IslamicFinder. You can get it there for free. Good Luck to you.

Hello sister, I am Gharrieb from Australia,

All prayer times start at different times in most countries,
I will give a generalized example so it is clear to all readers.

In all prayer times it is best to pray all prayers AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, so right after the ADAAN and it's also best to pray it at the mosque, you get more GOLD STARS as I call them if you pray at the Mosque and as soon as the ADAAN is finished, When I say GOLD STARS, I mean Sawaab.
BUT THE TIME GIVEN FOR FAJIR is before SUNRISE, so if the sun rises and you haven't done the prayer, then it moves on to the Morning prayer, I know some people that don't pray Fajir because they can't wake up at that time and pray only morning prayer which lasts till Dhuhr, I am not sure if it's right to do it like this but I myself would rather set my Alarm clock to pray Al Fajir simply because you get so many gold stars for praying al Fajir at it's right time, remembering that it is no longer fajir if you see light outside your window, or if there is any light outside at all.

Keeping in mind with all prayer times it is best and you get more gold stars the sooner you pray them after their Adaan.

But the time given for the rest prayer time, as far as I know and I'm pretty sure I'm right as I've asked a few people on this subject and done some research also.

With Dhuhr Prayer you have until Asr to pray it.
The sooner the better of course, more gold stars for all!!!
With Asr Prayer you have until Maghrib to pray it.
The sooner the better of course, more gold stars for all!!!
With Maghrib Prayer you have until Isha to pray it.
The sooner the better of course, more gold stars for all!!!
Now with Isha I have heard you should only pray it before midnight but then again I have heard you have until Fajir to pray it so I'm not sure about the Isha but to avoid any mishaps
you should pray as soon as you hear the Adaan, if you hear it from your local Mosque or from your laptop like I do being in Australia : )

Yala, so happy to be of any help as I get GOLD STARS for helping people understand islam..

Don't forget how lucky you are to have been born Muslim!!!

Simply wishing you the best of faith,

Gharrieb from Australia

"Prayer to" i will understand yet "prayer for" is something previous me because of the fact I could desire to have concept that Saints do no longer choose any prayers for them because of the fact they are without postpone related to God and don't choose our intercession. Have a great Day.
