Wolf asked him how he felt about Homosexuality and Homosexual marriages. Joel first stated that he believed that God wants a man to marry a woman and Joel feels that is how God created us. Wolf asked him how he felt about homosexuals claiming that they were born homoseuxal. Joel responded that he wasn't sure about all that and just didn't understand it enough to comment. Say What? Then in regards to homosexuals wanting to have the same marriage privilages as other married couples Joel again states he wasn't sure about that and just didn't understand the issue enough to comment on that as well. Uh say what again? Joel just stated before those questions he believed God's intensions was for a man to marry a woman and we were created this way. Seems to me he UNDERSTANDS PERFECTLY......but hey I understand he wants to be POLITICALLY CORRECT. I myself, rather will be Biblically correct and stand. Shame on you Joel. Anybody else care to comment on this?

The first time I ever heard of Joel Olsteen was when a dear sister in the Lord...who absolutely LOVED Him...shared a sermon by Joel with me and others...

Afterwards, I literally cried. Seriously - tears.

Do you know why I cried?

I cried because I saw the HUGE amount of people in his church...and I imagined my unsaved loved ones being seduced into his church along with all of these others...to have their itching ears scratched by him...all the way to HELL!

From what I have seen, he does NOT preach the true Gospel, but another "gospel"...which is really no gospel at all.

-

And my answer has NOTHING to do with "homosexuals" and/or condoning or condemning them.

To be point blank: I would weep in tears of LOVE for "homosexuals" who would be seduced into his church...for they would be in just as much danger as "heterosexuals".

BOTH heterosexuals AND homosexuals sin. To even lust for another (whether of the same sex, or not, makes no difference) is sinful, as Jesus made perfectly clear in Matthew 5:27-30!

We are ALL in need of salvation, which is freely offered to all - homosexuals and heterosexuals and bisexuals and any other-type-sexuals - by grace through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ...who came and died for our sins on the cross.

THIS is the Gospel.

And I pray that God would open the ears of those who read these words to believe - no matter what type-sexual they call themselves.

When God created Eve, God took a part of Adam away.
Thus, a man feels wholer when he finds his Eve.

The difference between men and women was created to consolidate life's needs into roles toward each other. Homosexual scientists try to allow reason for homosexual biasness,.. and then paint this biasness as normal.

Yet these scientists will say identical twins can be born where one is gay and the other isn't.

look at this subject... It's the most used reason to second guess God. But I have learned from this that people perfect what they focus on. But they still lack fullness of perception. The very bottom of this has the reason we can all use to retort this subject.

First off.. Men don't show cat scans like women untill they take estrogin pills then testosterone blockers. This was proved when a european scientist tried to lie with these pills.

They have generalized that gay men have more formed thoughts in the sexual section of the brain,.. and an enlarged audio section of the brain.///all this proves is that practice can achieve these side effects. This especially proves that homosexuals have a stronger imagination side of the brain.

They tried to brainwash the public with statistics that show gay people will respond to pharamones of the opposite sex. They omitted the fact that bisexuals will respond to pharamones from both sexes because that would show it clearly is a learned trait. That just wanted people to assume it's an uncontrolled assumed trait.

They have found the alcaholism gene,.. the anorexia gene,.. and even a gene associated with increased agression... But no homosexuality gene.

They have then tried to create reasoning that when a mother has more then one child, the mother developes a resistance to testosterone. Thus a chemical bath from testosterone antibodies will change a child while they are in the womb. But they are confused and openly admit that identical twins won't both be gay./// The obvious thing would be that people that are born with big brothers decide that they aren't like their big brother and get along better with the mother.

From studding autism, they have found that an autistic child will fire the same nerons from watching an action as actually doing the action. I have dislexia (a visual mindset) in such a way that I am not inhibitted. I think this is because I am well rounded in this area for I notice a photographic like memory in my audio section of the brain. And my imagination helps me in opening up my mind and understanding people. Science just tries to define things to accent the things they focus on.

Yes, it was deliberate... to try and make it look like it isn't going to be a landslide victory for Dr. Paul. (But it will be.) And "Tagboy", The reason middle Americans vote republican is because they believe in the platform. Republicans have the right platform, they just don't follow it for the most part... except for Ron and Rand Paul. of course. Most Americans are God-fearing Christians, pro-life, pro-capitalism and anti-socialist. We like our freedom and we want to be able to bear arms in order to protect that freedom. And if you think for one second that Obama and the liberals in Congress aren't "taking care of big business and the rich and screwing us" just as much as the republicans, then you really need to lay off the kool-aid. Obama is in Goldman-Sach's back pocket. The good doctors both hold the same view as most of middle America... Stop spending us into oblivion and leave us alone. We'll make our own way without the hand of big government taking care of us from cradle to grave, and controlling our every move. The real question is why would anyone vote democrat. The democrats currently in power are nothing but communist revolutionaries who believe the U.S. is the cause of all the problems in the world.

Joel Osteen is a heretic so this should not surprise too many people. I don't, as some others apparently do, believe he was being humble. He was being a weak minded heretic like he always has been.

I'd rather wound with the truth than deceive with a lie. The only truth I know to be right Is the Gospel.
I'd rather be In right standing with God than politically correct with man.
After all when everything's all said and done He's the only one that counts !

Sounds to me like the interviewer, like you, is just trying to stir the pot and gain ammo for a future attack.
I think Joel handled the situation correctly.
He stated the basis of what he believed and refused to admit to an opinion he doesn't own.

Joel is mainly an exhorter. Someone who lifts people up spiritually which is why I think he was so hesitant to make too many negative comments.

"Joel responded that he wasn't sure about all that and just didn't understand it enough to comment."

I think knowing what you DON'T know is a sign of wisdom. I disagree with him on the marriage issue, but I respect his humility.

You have noticed, along with many others what is behind Osteen.
He may preach God, but denies the power of Him, leaning instead on a fear of man. Well, that's what it appears to be.
