Should I rush him over to the vet and spend all that money for them to look him over, or should I just hold off and see if his "attitude" changes at all, This has never happened so I am unsure if he will be ok and I shouldent worry or if this is an emergency and I need to go NOW. Please let me know

He will be fine, unless he has an allergy to something.... Dogs eat WAY worst things than bread. (Garbage, dead animals, and whatever else they can get in their mouths) My family lives out in the country so our dogs are not fenced, they stay home mostly(our neighbors who don't have dogs bought our dogs treats so now our dogs have their daily rounds to get treats) Anyways, now is hunting season and our dogs bring home the legs of deer and elk that they chew on... Its disgusting!!! But they are super healthy. The most that might happen to your dog would probably be diarreah(sp?) cause his stomach isn't used to the bread. Maybe make him sleep in a bathroom or garage so if he has an accident it'll be easy to clean up!!!

Are you talking about bread buns? I don't think this is an emergency situation. The dog should be able to digest them, may just go to the bathroom a little more than usual. I don't think buns would cause an obstruction. I would just watch and wait. If it seems to become a problem then call the vet. Dogs have strong stomachs and are able to digest a lot.

he should be fine;however, if he isn't use to eating htat kind of food you may see some vomitting if this last more than a day or is continues then take to the vet. You may also notice a wet stool
YOu may also notice him not quite as active due to a full belly but if it continues tomorrow morning then get hinm to the vets to be safe.
MY dog once ate a half a loaf of bread when I went to answer the door and she was fine she is a 40 pound golden mix.

He might get a belly ache from an over-full stomach. Watch him for signs of abdominal pain and call if he develops symptoms, but he may be fine. No dinner tonight for him though.

EDIT: He will act distressed or frantic, won't settle down, may try to eat plants or drink water frantically (don't let him). You'll be able to tell - trust me - I've been there. My dog once ate her dinner and then our other dog's dinner when I wasn't looking and got herself over-full. This was the outcome.

??? Are you saying your concerned because your dog ate hotdog/hamburger buns ???

I wouldn't worry unless he managed to get one lodged in his throat. The only adverse reactions he might get would be due to an allergy or even a reaction to eating human food which usually results in diarrhea.

But if it makes you feel at ease, you can always call your vet and ask the question. The vet doesn't charge for advise!

If it's the stomach flu, then you're gonna feel sick no matter what. Girl eat!!! Eat way more meats, cheeses etc!! don't let yourself get too thin like I did. I can't gain weight and am really sick. My 3 year old sister eats 3 times as much as that!

That sounds like something my dog would do. I wouldn't worry about it unless he ate a foreign object, if he starts throwing up, or acting wierd.
