i usually tend to go on saturday evenings. why do i go?
to hear the word of god and to receive him in the greatest blessing we have, the eucharist. for the fullness of christianity and truth one must be a part of the church he established, the holy cattholic church. i was raised catholic but fell away from the church for a period of time, in finding my way home i came to see the church for what it is, the truth as jesus intended it to be.

may god bless you and your family.

I have a Faith in God, I don't think I'd still call it Catholicism, but because its the faith of my raising, and the majority of local churches are of that Faith I do take advantage of proximity and sit in on service every once in a while, and I have been to other houses of worship as well.
I think that regular attendance of a set denomination does create a sense of community, which is good, but at the same time I don't think that makes your faith any deeper, or stronger, than the faith of someone who communicates with God on their own level.
What you do on Sunday (or Saturday, or Friday at Sundown, or whenever) should be an expression of your faith,Not the definition of it. However, if you choose to gather with a group of like minded people, good for you. But simply gathering out of ceremony and habit isnt enough.

i love it beause it gives us someone to thank for wwell being and something to look forward after life, God is some one so omnipitent, he is everywhere and even if you forget him at college partys and have sex all the time you may forget him but he never forgets you and on a lonely night you're not really lonely because he's on your side and you can ask him for guidance, and nop one wants to be butired and forgotten after 20 years, that way oyu can see your families in heaven. And you'll have a view of how god is, in heaven you won't have any questions and everything will be healed and given,

because our Lord and Savior truly and literally becomes physically present in the consecrated bread and wine!! As long as we've confessed serious (mortal) sins, we get to truly recieve the body, blood, soul, and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ as spiritual nourishment!!! Jesus Christ is also always present inside the Holy Tabernacle. When we go to the Holy Mass, we go to be with Jesus Christ!

I go to worship the Lord, and for fellowship, I am not catholic, I am baptist, and I believe Jesus went to the cross for our sins, so we have The Holy Spirit always within us, we go to church for spiritual strenghthening and worship.

I have not found anything else that answers my questions. Nor have I found any children on here, proclaiming atheism, that I care to pay any attention to. It works for me. I leave them alone and they should leave me.
See you in Church.
