Well, born into a CofE family, brought up with no particular faith I am in turmoil. Having spoken to Muslims, Christians, Jews and a few others like Jehovahs Witnesses, which religion will assure me of my place in Heaven?

They all seem to claim to be the only true path to the one true God, how can I be sure I'm not going to Hell by being a Christian, or Jew, or Muslim, or Bhuddist etc. etc.

Someone please save me from eternal damnation...

Go to a christian church to socialize, and secretly study Buddhism.

I'm a Muslim. My first advice, is to believe in urself. Once u knew about urself, then u'll know where ur faith lies. Btw, Islam means 'submit'. It is very much connected with the laws of Universe and the laws of nature. And for me, Islam is not a religion, its the way/flow of life. Heaven and hell are not a location. They are ur state of mind. And the God u seek, is not far away. Its right in front of you. Even right now, when u r facing this screen. Good luck in soul searching.

Jesus is the Savior of mankind
no religion can claim that their leader rose from the dead so we can have eternal life
that gift comes from repentance of sin (which all have done)
once you ask forgiveness and give your life to Him; Jesus Christ, then ask the Holy Spirit which will come into you when you receive Christ as your Savior where you can find fellowship with other believers

None. They all have a history of violence and most like Christianity or Catholicism spread hatred and divide our nation. Either be an Atheist, or a Buddhist. Since those are the only two beliefs that don't spread hatred or divide our nation.

Why are you worried about eternal damnation? It doesn't exist... this thought is revealing...

God is good right? If God is good, why would he make it so hard to tell which religion is the right religion? They all have holy texts, prophets, miracles, personal experiences with their god, etc etc...

God doesn't exist... religions are made up.

According the the Bible you cna't come to the truth unless God "quickens you" to believe. If that happens you will know the right truth that will save you.

John 6:44 "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.

Follow the bible and not religion.
There is many religions out there and they have so many ideas that do not agree witht he bible and also some have said certain things need to happen and it never happened so you can say they are false teachers and others go against the bible and best you read the bible and gfollow it.

Because we have sinned we are born separated from God. Without intervention, we are ineligible for Heaven. This applies to the entire human race. You are not alone.

Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Romans 3:10 says, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"

Romans 6:23a "For the wages of sin is death;"

Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:"

There is no amount of good works we can do to save ourselves from being eternally separated from God.

Ephesians 2:8-9 say, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

To be separated from God forever, simply do nothing. To ignore or reject God's son is the only sin that can keep a person out of Heaven and the only alternative to Heaven is eternal torment in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:15, 2 Thes. 1:7-9).

John 3:18 "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

But there is good news!

There is a simple and free way to be reconciled with God made possible by God's only son Jesus. A blood sacrifice was needed to pay for your sins and Jesus was sent to become that sacrifice. He was nailed to a Roman cross to shed His blood in payment for your sin. Then three days after His death, He rose from the dead, validating once and for all His qualification to be our only Savior.

Placing your complete trust in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection is God's one and only means of reaching Heaven.

Jesus said (John 14:6), "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life:, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

John 3:16 & 17 are clear. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

The Bible clearly tells us how to be saved:

Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This is a free gift from God because He loves you.

Romans 6:23b "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Romans 10:13 "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Before you go to any religion see how they stand up with the bible, Jehovah's witnesses and Mormons are cults and are not christian (this can be all seen once you read the bible) also see what the bible teaches about counterfeit doctrines which the Cahtolic church teaches ( also can see by reading the bible ) and many are lead astray and there is also others too.
