Good article.
I know it's real, as do you. Here are some more facts you may be interested in, particularly the links. Newscientist is particularly good.
There's a lot less controversy about this is the real world than there is on Yahoo answers:
http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/articles/home_page/412.php?lb=hmpg1&pnt=412&nid=&id=
And vastly less controversy in the scientific community than you might guess from the few skeptics talked about here:

Why do you have to "believe" in global warming? No one has to believe in things that are real. Do you "believe" 2+2=4? Of course not. If it were real, then there would not be any argument..
Let's say that man is responsible for all of the increase of co2 in the last century. If that's the case, then man has added 100ppm (parts per million) into the atmosphere.
100ppm is just 0.001%. That's like adding an inch to the length of a football field or getting a $1 per year raise when you make $100,000 per year. These increases are far too small to have any impact on the climate at all.
We also know co2 has very little effect. Even though co2 has been increasing, the temperatures have been going down. he warmest season recorded was 1998.
The Sun is the cause for all warming. Any changes in the Sun have a great effect on the Earths climate. It's the Sun, not man, that causes the change in our climate.

When I was in primary school, back in the 60's, I was taught that the earth was still coming out of the last ice age and that as a result the earth would warm up, sea levels would rise, and climates would change. Global warming has been happening for the last few thousands of years, it is fact.
As to whether man is making it worse or not I am still undecided. But I would stilll like to see less pollution, and everthing that we need to do to to supposedly help stop global warming is the same as the things we need to do to reduce pollution in the atmosphere. So lets just do it.

i'm nevertheless a splash sceptical, although i individually care approximately our wild places. I do although think of that we would desire to consistently take the risk heavily. The information proves that organic cycles of climate happen on a grand scale. there have been as quickly as lions, hippos and elephants wandering the united kingdom nation-state, approximately one hundred twenty,000 years in the past. That became an interglacial heat spell. the element that may no longer disputed, is that those issues ensue for sure, after all the Scottish nation-state is full of glacial good factors. although, the information potential that our further contribution to international warming is making it ensue at a speedier fee than existence can handle. we are speaking approximately climate replace happening in lots of years, extremely than spanning centuries or hundreds of years. organic international has coped with climate replace somewhat nicely in the previous. woodlands and grasslands can pass at their snails %., to maintain song of the situations that experience them. at the instant there are further themes. we've our organic international trapped in wallet that are surrounded by utilising farmland. The organic "corridors" are long gone. organic international charities are doing their ultimate to make our wild places extra joined up. If climate replace maintains as that's and there is not any area for issues to bypass, then we can lose a lot. besides, i think of my important situation is that i do no longer want it to be authentic.

it is not the question of belief. it is just another bluff from america like man landing on moon. co2 is just 0.02% in air even if u add 100% more it will come to 0.04% . most of the global warmin predictions are for 50 to 100 years. who is going to live that long to see and verify that ? no ice cap is melting. go yourself and see, take a tracking expedition to Hemalays in India to see no ice is melting as claimed by so called scientists.

Ok, for about the hundredth time...Global warming is happening, that is NOT the controversy. What is debatable is whether or not it was caused by humans and whether or not we can actually do anything to stop it. Good day.

i believe....
my reason is....
why does the sea level reaches to a point where in some places near the sea deducting its land area...
it means that the ice caps are starting to melt due to global warming...
this kind of rise in sea level is different from the high tide..

OK lets say you're right.
What environmental impact do you think it would have on the Earth, global flooding? no.
The warmer the air is the more moister the atmosphere can hold.
So that's not going to happen, but you know what would and could happen?
More food crops.
Yes, the warmer it is, the more time plants have to produce more food.
So if ANYTHING it would be in our best interest, to have global warming.
