i'd like to wear my stilletoes (normal size--not sure how many inches normal high heels are? ) BUT really dont want to tower him, just incase I embarass him? Ps flats/ high heels girls AND guys? Do you think it would be a ok to tower him in my stilletoes/ or wear flats to play safe?

I'd suggest something in between or go with the flats.

I'd stick to flats, especially if this is a first date. Stilettos are usually about four inches, or more. You could wear heels that only have like a two inch heel on them (these would be "normal" heels) so then you'll have more height but not tower over him. Some men do like women taller than them, trust me I know. I'm 5'11 and I dated a man that was 5'6 for three years. And even as tall as I am, I still wear heels, wedges, and even occasionally a nice pair of stiletto's. But as I said..maybe a small heel or flats, especially if it's a first date, some men like tall women even if they are short, and some men are intimidated by tall women even if they are tall themselves.

I really hope your stilettos aren't more than 3" high 'cause then you're doing some damage to your feet and ankles. If your high heels are "normal" size, I'd think they were no more than 2" and in that case, you wouldn't tower over him, you'd still be just a bit shorter. And I'm sure that even if you are a little taller than him with your heels on, he wouldn't mind. Good luck!

Normal heels are not stilettos...the normal ones are about 3 inches...which would still make you shorter than he is...the real stilettos are 4 to 6 inch heels and you are going to be standing on your tip toes all evening...not to mention looking a little like a stripper...stick to the regular heels on the first date...no need to wear flats unless you just really want to.

It all depends on the guy. Does he have height issues? Flats are the answer. Is he self-confident? Go for the stilettos.
My grandmother was 5'10" in her bare feet and wore high heels every day of her life. She was proud of her height. My grandfather was a very confident man, though he was only about 5'4". They made a great pair!!!!

Heels are more sexy. If it were me, I would wear the high heels. He knew your size when he asked for the date. Or, is this blind date? Either way--wear the heels, unless there is a lot of walking involved.

go with a nice high heel - your look good and not tower him - besides most guys don't mind if their girls are taller and looking good as long as you don't plan on dancing for all to see might be a bit awkward - surpassing its the girls who have the most problem with the height

wear whatever feels comfortable.
High heels can also snap easily dont wanna break a heel.

NO way, at best make sure you are on even ground. You might risk making him feel inferior or less masculine by towering over him. Guys like to feel like your protector. The the protectee

1st of all stilletoes are bad for you feet if you always were them when you are like 60 you will get bad cramp in your feet and you will find it VERY hard to walk.Trust me i know my mum suffers becuse she always used to were heels.
Guys hate it if there girl is taller then them so were flats,for your heath and for the guy.
