If my fishsticks defrosted in the car and I left them there for three days can I still bake them in a conventional oven?

Since they are already defrosted should I reduce the baking time from 9-11 min to say 6-9 min?

I was thinking of using bamboo skewer's and letting my guests just heat them over a can of sterno, how long should they be cooked this way and should I pre soak the skewer's in cold water to keep them from burning?

Fish sticks are a magical food like skittles, they can bake in the hot sun for three days and still be edible. Don't listen to these people. As for the bamboo skewers (classy) definitely soak them scorched sticks are never tasty and they may affect the flavor of your fish sticks. Good Luck

Pre-soak your skewers and thread the fish sticks on, with a cheese chunk between each stick. A sterno would be okay, also guests can use the upright toaster if the skewers are metal. Try an apple-cinnamon oil lamp for extra fondue flavor. Really the possibilties are endless.

Frozen fish sticks are not meant to be defrosted. Since they have been for 3 days that has allowed a ton of bacteria that could not grow on them in the cold environment of a freezer to thrive and spread and grow on them .Please throw them out and just get new ones. You really don't want to make your guests all party in the hospital.

Are you NUTS or something? Even left out for 1 day they would go bad. Advice, next time you decide to purchase more, put them in the freezer right away or heat and eat them. Certainly you don't know much about frozen products. Try asking this crazy question to you butcher or fish man in your market.

Yeah you should definitely throw them out. If they sat in your car, defrosted for that long, you're just gonna get sick. Especially since it's fish! Don't eat it!

unless the temp in your car has remained at 35 degrees F or lower (this is unlikely)

NO NO NO
dangerous.
and cooking them less after they have been sitting out just compounds the problem.

don't feed them to the cats, either.

You don't like your guest very much do you? Sounds like you're trying to create a hospital bill for everybody.

Smother them in tarter sauce. Tarter sauce makes anything safe for consumption.
