When you sit down at your Thanksgiving dinner this year surrounded by your family what will you have to be thankful for. If you are thankful to whom will you give thanks, be it to your choice of faith, or yourself, your wife or husband? I am just curious how many will be partaking in this tradition and how your family views this very popular day.

I shall be enjoying my day off at my in-laws with my husband, children and my parents. A huge Christian family, We will partake in prayers of thanksgiving, way too much deep fried turkey, and hopefully watch the Cowboys stomp the Jets.

Okay I should of aroused some interest with atleast that last prompt.

Have a wonderful holiday no matter how you choose to celebrate it. Even if it is just another day.

My family and I celebrate Thanksgiving. It's one of my favorite days. I view it as a day to get together with family and friends, to both enjoy one another's company and some good food.

I am cooking this year for my family, the first time since I started my own family 17 years ago. We were out of the country for 8 years (military), and when we returned to the states, we lived too far from home. This year we live close enough, and I plan on cooking a huge meal for my husband (atheist), our two children, my mother and her husband (Catholics) and my grandmother (Protestant).

There will be no prayer said at my table, but we will still be thankful. To who will I be thankful? To everyone I know and love, as well as to myself. Just "thankful" :)

A wonderful holiday to you too!

I will be celebratig with my mom and dad. Its just the three of us this year.
We have a lot to be thankful for this year. Mainly because our house caught on fire in July, and all of us are OK and our insurance company is being very helpful. We will be thanking God, our Redeemer and our Savior. He kept us safe and provided for us during this terrible time.
I will also be watchig Dallas kill the Jets. For sure!
I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving as well! God Bless!

my wife and friends, us families in our stairwell are going to all partake in the meal together. We are all in army housing in germany so, for many of us, it is too expensive to fly back home to celebrate with our families, plus a great deal of us soldiers are in the feild and only get to come home for 4 days for thanksgiving before we go back to the feild for another two weeks
I will thank my goddess for bringing us together and thank her for the protection and happiness that she has given me over the last year.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND BLESSED BE TO ALL

To God, and my family ... and everyone it took to create the meal: Turkey farmer, slaughter, truck driver, bussiness administrator who pays everyone for their work, they ppl who layed the asphault 4 the roads to get the turkey to our table, the ppl who made the car's, ppl who made refrigerators & freezors, and all the others that I don't know to thank ... but should anyways.

Thank God for the entertainment on that Day ... whatever it may be.

I'll give the glory to God. I'll be with my in-laws too. My father-in-law is coming in from Chicago to spend the holiday with me and my husband. It will be fun. I'm going to make the stuffing and chicken and sausage gumbo.

Glory to God who gave it
made it, grew it and produced it
the seed of all things are in the ground that God made

I give Thanks to God for the freedom, food, family, health, and all that first.

I will also pray for the dearly departed and go to Holy Mass in respect for our Founding Fathers who founded this country. We have to give them credit and be thankful, because we just wouldn't be here thankful for everything.

Bless America and it's families.

I will be thankful as long as my fiance's family doesn't gang up on him again, seriously.

We'll be eating at his mother's house, there will be about 12 of us. And some Ibizan hounds will be lying at our feet STARING at our food :) It should be fun though, lots of good food.

I try to be thankful for virtuous deeds done by all sentient beings everyday. Thanksgiving is simply one day, IMO, however it is my wish that yours will be a happy, healthy one.
