I have ridden in both. The C-17 is a jet, while the C-130 is a turboprop. The C-17 is larger and seats more people than the C-130. I liked riding in the C-17 a lot better than the
C-130.

17's are a good bit bigger than 130's. I don't know the exact number, but it would be close to a hundred maybe more. Other than size 130's use turbo prop engines and 17's turbines. Also 130's are better suited for landing on less than deserable runways due to their higher placed engine intakes.

I had one, months in the past. i don't understand if he became precisely loopy, yet he sent countless creepy emails. not the sturdy/humorous/pervy variety; greater like the type that make you ask your self what share lifeless hookers he has in his trunk.

A C-130 is about 7.64 times bigger than a C-17 and can carry 7.64 times the people more than the C-17.

How did I figure this out? 130/17 = 7.64

:-)
