An Olds engine has an oil fill tube in the front timing cover. Most later model Olds engines have the size cast into that area. Also check to see if it has an alum. intake manifold. If so its a 307/5.0 engine. Correct for that car. 455 HO is a Pontiac term and those engines have oil fills in the valve cover and only 4 bolts in the cover. Also have a "pan" style valley cover under the intake manifold.Hope this may help

I'm tired and sleepy and don't know where my reference info is at the moment. I think some of your numbers, letters are incorrect.
7m - no idea, month and year of production is usually found in the engine info
318c1 - believe this is actually "318ci" which would leave
135498 - which matches the last six digits of your vin (if I remember correctly)
Chrysler changed their ID program in the late '60's and I never really took time to memorize it. The engine info is just below the deck near the front on one side or the other. Good Luck with your ride, always thought the fastback Cudas looked sharp.

Check to see if under the driver's seat if there is a build sheet. Usually it is stuffed into the springs under the seat. That is where i found mine in my 1971 Plymouth Barracuda. That will give you every bit of information you need to know. If it is not there, try on the back side of the rear seat or underneath the rear seat but the driver's side front is where I found mine. Good luck and congratulations on getting yourself a barracuda. Don't get rid of it, even if it is nickel and diming you to death. Be very careful. It is usually very brittle by now.
