I know fornication is a sin. I'm really trying to keep from doing anything in the 10 commandments and what the bible would consider to be a sinful act. Being a 20 year college junior, it's not easy to refrain from fornicating, but I do fancy alot of the girls on campus. I only found out that it was a sin about 3 weeks ago when I heard a man preaching about the bible in the court yard as I passed him by. I felt really, really guilty when I heard that this was a sin, asked for forgiveness and haven't done it since.

However, I still lust for some of the girls here. I can't help it. I'm also planning on going to medical school, so I don't intend on getting married anytime soon. What can I do?

You should throw out the Bible and the ten commandments and live your own life.

Lust, a sin? Fornication, a sin? Good grief, neither of those are a sin....Why cut off your nose to spite your face. Come into the real world and see it for what it really is. You feel guilty for fancying the opposite sex. Hasn't anyone told you that that is all part of what makes the world go round.
Fornication is about as natral as drinking water. And in this day and age there are condomes to help with any possible unwanted pregnancies. So throw off those chains, get out there and fornicate to your hearts content. It is not a sin.

My advice would be to consider carefully why you've decided to refrain from sin. If this is a new thing for you, I can understand why you'd be having trouble. If it's difficult for you to refrain from sinning, I would suggest you do some research into why these things are considered sins, and what the alternatives to them are. Everyone has feelings of lust sometimes. Remember that God is all loving and all forgiving. If you wish to become absolved of your sin, you can have a confession with a Catholic priest. If you're not Catholic, that option isn't open to you. And if you aren't a Christian, I wouldn't let the idea of sin bother you. If you don't believe in God, I doubt a few sins would be at the top of your list if there actually is a God.

I'll leave you with this: Always consider why what you do is right or wrong, and you can never be led astray.

It's not a sin to feel attracted or turned on by a beautiful woman or a handsome man. It's only a sin if you act on those feelings and actually fornicate with them. But as long as you keep the feelings in your head, it's okay.

lust is natures way of ensuring the survival of the human species. Sin is a warped philosophy created by men who wanted to take all power away from women, and all fun out of life!

No sane person gives a ****. Lust is what got all of us here. Lust the beginning of love. Deny it if you want. Then some day you may just grow up and realize it's true.

You can use condoms. I like the super thins.

Yes Jesus said "whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery with her in his heart." If you don't believe the N.T, King David got into trouble with lust as well, with Bathsheba.

Lust,is another sin for pride!

Love is not lust among married people, they have been commanded to replenish and re-generate the earth with people.
