If you're in school you probably don't have the cash for a really nice place. It really depends on what kind of food you two are in the mood for and how long you want to spend dining. I would recommend you go to Brio on the plaza or any of the Garozzo's restaurants.

Jack stack barbeque is the best. You can get the dinner for 2 which has a big rack of pork ribs and a bunch of sides. It's as romantic as BBQ can get. :) Plus it's cheap...like $20. They have locations in the plaza, downtown by union station, metcalf, and Martin City.
FYI, it's not safe to post full names and locations on public internet forums. You are just begging to get a stalker. Watch Dateline NBC to understand better. :(
