Well, i would like to know your opinion on this. I want to know what are the chances of me having a blue eyed son. I have brown eyes, my father also has brown and my mother has blue eyes. And both my grandfathers have blue eyes. Its just curiosity. Thanks

Both my parents, brother and sister all have brown eyes, I got really blue eyes and so does my little girl.

Does the father have blue eyes?

Funny thing about the genetics of eye color. They have a few answers for certain shades of blue, brown and green, for everything else, no one knows. Honestly, even if there haven't been a certain color of eyes for generations it can crop up. And hazel eyes sometimes won't turn until the child is seven. So the choices of eye color are pretty wide even if both parents are blue eyed.

Brown eyes are more dominant than blue eyes, what about the father? If the father has blue eyes you would increase your chances a lot. But you never know, my mom has green and my dad has brown, and i came out with blue eyes.

Eye colour is determined by the interaction of several genes. Your odds of a blue eyed baby depend on how dark you and your son's father's eyes are. The darker, the less chance the lighter the more chance.

Chances are your son will have brown eye's. Boys in general take after their mothers.
But weight this into account. Looking at your family, do you all look similar? Now look at your mate, does his family have more simliarites or less than your family?
In this case whomever has the strongest gene's may win?
Depending if you mate has blue eye's that is.
Ex. (real life)

I have brown, my dad has brown, my mom has green, my brother has blue.
YOu would never know that my brother and I are related, and both me and my brother don't look a lot like our parents.

My husband has blue, his mom has blue, dad has blue, siblings have blue.
They all generally look the same.

My daugther has blue eyes.
When a brown eye gene is usually stronger than a blue or green gene.

Make sense?

He would probably turn out with brown eyes, because it is the most dominant and alot of your closer relatives have them.
But hey, theres nothing wrong with brown eyes. You'l love your son the same what ever his eye colour is. =S

Well your chances of having a kid w/ brown eyes is probably high b/c brown eyes are dominant but it depends on the father/mother's (idk if u r a girl or boy) eyes
