tHE BEST ONE i KNOW OF IS CALLED THE ULTIMATE ORANGE. They don't make it in Canada anymore, I think because it has small traced of Ephedrine, but at the smaller health food stores, i have seen it still. Bottom line is I have tryed them all, my ex, a personal trainer introduced me to this formula and it gave me so much energy to work out, pleasant tasting and reulted in fantastic results bulking up in muscle mass. Also google up some homeade energy drinks, these are the most nutritious, least expensive drinks. Diet and supplements are a multi lilliom dollar imndustry and all claim to give reults but try the ultimate orange it is a cut above the rest.

all supplemental protein powders are safe. if you are having problems gaining muscle supplements are not your problem. 80% of muscle building is in the diet. you need to count calories so that you "know" how many calories you are getting in and not guessing. if you are not gaining weight are say 3000 cals daily then you need to increase your cals by 10% each week until weight gain occurs. supplements play a very, very small role in bodybuilding only 10%. when it comes to the iron game it's the diet that separates those with 20" guns and those with 16" guns. eating 5-7 meals daily for years on end is not easy, going to the gym is.

Kurt Cobain Dimebag was a great guitarist, but we wouldn't have been blessed with the music of Damageplan otherwise. I like them not as much as Pantera, but they're good. Michael Jackson was good back in the day. That's all I can say. Nirvana would have been kickin' it for a while if Kurt didn't die. It was a tragedy. But I am a big fan of Foo Fighters and Them Crooked Vultures (Dave Grohl's bands) which he wouldn't have been in if Nirvana was still around. So what I'm saying is although it's good to mourn, there's nothing we can do about it, and be thankful for what we still have.

im a bodybuilder so I will shed some light on the subject. If you're looking for just a pre and post-workout shake Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey is your best bet, relatively cheap, good taste, and extremely effective. If you want an homemade meal replacement I have the perfect recipe which is great for building mass:
2 scoops of whey
2 cups of fat free milk
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 banana
2 tbsp peanut butter
handful of ice
BLEND! it yield around 800cals, 20g fat, 70g carbs, 80g protein

other supplements which are extemely helpful are
l-glutamine(mix it in with your shake, helps with muscle recovery)
amino acid complex (also for recovery)
flax seed oil (omega's)
Vitamin B-Complex (energy)
GNC Multi-Vitamin
