You can go to an endocrinologist, but I have found that a GP works just fine on this. You need to get yourself into a doctor soon, you have a lot of the symptoms for low thyroid. How about dry skin on your feet and hands? That was my major clue.

Start with a GP, who can order some blood tests. He/she can take it from there, if you need thyroid medication. You don't need a specialist at this stage. Hypothyroidism is common enough so that a GP will know how to treat it.

All of your symptoms are could be due to hypothyroidism (low thyroid) but it's best to seek medical attention. There are other diseases that could also display these symptoms. My advice is to find a good internal medicine specialist. You don't need the expense of an endocrinologist as your problem is very common and easy to treat. Ask your family doc for a referal.

Fortunately, if you do have hypothyroidism, your doc will prescibe you a thyroxin supplement that will fix you up just fine.

Please do take the time and expense to see a good endocrinologist. Even though an internist could potentially help, if you have lupus, hypothyroidism and/or syndrome X they are all best addressed with an endocrinologist.
