just wondering if you need to tip when you get something pierced or if that's just for when you get a tattoo.
i'm not really sure.

People do, but piercing is already so overpriced that it seems ridiculous to me.

You don't 'need' to tip for anything. Tipping shouldn't be required or expected for a person to perform their job. It should be done when someone goes above and beyond their normal job duties as a reward for exceptional service.

Tipping is overrated.
Why should I have to pay anything extra for someone to do their job?
Yeah, if they did something unusual or extra or did something above and beyond the norm, a tip is good, but for simply doing their job? Why?

you tip on service if the person suppllied you with great service then you tip and if you plan on going back

Yes, anytime someone is providing you with a service, you should tip.
