Here in Austin TX USA, it is 4pm on Fri afternoon before a long weekend and time invariable slows down to a thick, imperceptable ooze.

How can the part understand the whole? Best thing to do, Jon, is suck it up; better yet, lick it up, for the taste of molasses is divine. Once you start licking the divine, you'll ingest Its perfection, and time will stand still. Be one with the molasses! Oh by the way, enjoy your divine weekend, too. In fact, Jon, you are the DIVINE whatever you are experiencing, for it is experiencing you. Let the good times roll.... I am Sirius

I don't think it has anything to do with God. It is your perception of time and wanting to start the weekend. I believe your divine molasses may be mental sludge.

Because even God has a sense of humor.

Perhaps you should pray for waffles?
