Our small catholic school needs $100,000 to add to the budget beginning January 2008. Our parish is in financial trouble and can not give subsidy. We have strong dedicated staff. How can we help raise the money?

That is a drop in the bucket to St. Anne's in New York. They would probably bail you out. Or get the Knights of Columbus to help.

It's a shame when I hear Catholic schools are in trouble. When the Catholic church is filthy rich....and the priests are not far behind that. The higher ups can do something and probably got the word not to, so it is put back on the people.

Low enrollment will mean closure and they don't care.

Find out why your parish is in financial problems. It may have something to do with lawsuits involving priests.(I think you know what I'm talking about...2 BILLION in lawsuits and counting.)

ya. ask the vatican to give $100,000 to your school and fire the administrator for wasting the funds of the school.
