notice the learning the language, not the actual french. i have always had the worst teachers for that class. we get a new one every year and for the past 5 years i've hated it. why does it suck so much?

yeah some teachers are hard to connect with, but keep your head high. some teachers are cool because you instantly connect with them, but others are just horrible. Just grit you teeth and beer it. If you want to take the class then you should. And about the teacher situation they have to find some solution and get a permanent teacher for your class switching methods of teaching every year doesn't solve anything.

What makes them so awful? I always liked my French professors; I took it for about 8 years, in high school and college. All of mine were either natives of a French-speaking country, or they had worked in a country where French was spoken heavily.

It is a tough language to learn. I am forever taking courses and I live in a french city...chin up it gets better.

well it dosnt suck, and if u live in a french city, id sugest u learn it. but try ur best to enjoy it! la vie est dure, mais tu dois faire quoi tu dois faire, et dans ton cas, tu devrais aprendre le francais!

There are no bad teacher, only bad students.
Your English is a bright example of this statement,
it sure holds true in your case.
For your information, there are Capital Letters, punctuation, and paragraphs for using in writing.
And there is no need for using certain vulgar idioms in any language.
I suggest, you start learning English first,
before progressing onto more complex and complicated language.
