Lol! Don't say that. She'll think you're only talking to her to get a discount. How about "I saw you at blank. How long have you worked there?" Let her talk. Then say "Would you like to grab a bite to eat on your next day off?" If you're too shy, just ask her about her job for now. Then later ask her to dinner or for coffee. Good luck!!!

If I were you, I would give her some space. She may be getting burned out on you, but she still really needs your friendship/support. The fact that she trusts you as a friend is a major plus for you. If you love her, continue to let her rely on you as a friend and let her breathe a little. I know you are not needy, we all feel a little shaky when we get mixed signals from someone we are in love with. So, just back off a bit and start putting some effort into yourself. Women love confident men that make accomplishments. Her distance could mean that she is getting tired of you or that she may be interested in dating someone else. Either way, there is NOTHING you can do about how she feels accept for controlling how you react. Acting needy is a big turn off. Show her you are a man strong enough to let her be and invest in yourself by going for a job promotion or taking a class or take an interest in something besides her. After giving her some space, then you can go back to doing little romantic things that she may appreciate. A CD you made for her, a funny card in the mail, you get the idea. Remember, be there for her as a friend. Continue to let her depend on you.

LOL

DATING FOR DUMMIES (Herbal)
Go find the Dating for Dummies book. It's bright yellow and black. I forget the exact page (78 maybe?), but find the page that has "NEVER USE THESE LINES" on it, and keep the book open to that page.

Walk up to a girl BLATANTLY and hold the book up in front of your face so she can easily read the title. She might start laughing, depending on how you do it.

Then slowly lower the book and read the lines. "So... come here often" in a super player voice. She will crack up and answer you. Break your "smooth" look on your face and quickly bring the book back up and read the next line "What's your sign?". She will laugh again and probably answer.

Then I usually say "Wow... this works great. Your turn". It puts her on the spot. You can flip to random pages and do tons of role-play... the breaking up stuff is great.

Eventually just stack with a relationship related opener, and you're in. I've done this a ton of times and it never fails to open.

DON'T ask her to hook you up, to me, that sounds cheap and sleezy, nobody wants to be used for their employee discount. If you get to know her better down the line it would be ok, maybe depending on the situation. Ask her to have coffee with you, nice straight forward and to the point.

Just be casual. Ask her if she goes there a alot. Then ask to go get a cup of coffee or something along that line. If it is evening time ask if she would like to join you in a bit to eat.

Just say, "Hey, do you work at ________? I think I saw you there." Then the general questions about how long she's been there, whether or not she likes it, how often she works ... whatever flows from there. Don't ask her to hook you up, lol.

You really lost me back there! But that doesn't make any since what so ever!!!
What do you mean "you should hook me up" ? Hook you up with who or what? Sounds like you are wanting to talk to her co-worker when you say it like that....

I think thats the best open liner to start up any conversation but as for ending it with, "u should hook me up," the best bet is just leave that out. You going to see her again soon?

How about "would you like to go have coffee sometime?"

Smiles don't count when the person's on duty...you could have been getting the sales smile.
