This is to give perspective to a question (asked a moment ago) about the U.S. and Mexico remaining unfriendly until the border was gone. Good Grief!

Your thoughts?

Does the analogy fit? How? How not?

THX!

Does a modern, sovereign nation have less right to defend against an unwanted violation than the individuals who make up that nation?

ROTFL ..... This is a great analogy and can be extrapolated and extended to consider different aspects of legal / illegal immigration issues between US and Mexico (or for that matter many other countries).

If you can keep this question open for a longer duration (I don't know what is the time limit on Yahoo! answers), you may receive enough creative responses to write a nice article in a magazine / newspaper.

Excellent. I starred a question earlier where the answer stated they kill over 8,900 Americans (no link). It's simple build the fence. Sen. Hunter was on Glenn Beck for the whole show and he stated tat any place the fence is they can move 50% BP resources to other areas. the show repeats later, if you have a chance watch it on CNN, Beck, it's very interesting and alsomentions the 'super highway" and what he did. As far as the question, Daddy needs to do something? Wheres Daddy?

Cause being around confident people when you're not confident yourself isn't the best feeling in the world, I mean for men, that woman is the living example of what he as a person lack, that is confidence and self-respect. But not all guys are intimidated, some guys like the intellectual challenge those girls give them and they don't like the clingy desperate for a attention ones...

It fits perfectally.
Only, Mexico isn't getting thrown in jail like the guy would.

We set limits on immigration.(our Right)
The girl sets limits on how far she will go. (Her Right)

Mexico assists and condones its citizens to ignore the limits (their misdeed)
The guy ignores her limits (his misdeed)

Illegals get kicked out (their punishment)
Guy goes to jail for Sexual Assault and/or rape (his punishment.

I'm with you! And, yes, we ARE being raped by the tens of millions coming illegally.

The question, in either case, shouldn't be "How far can I go before it's too far?"; rather, it should be a question of "What can we agree on and be comfortable with?"

I think the analogy could fit, especially since we have pretty much raped Mexico in past wars.
