people make WILD UNFOUNDED CLAIMS FROM HERESAY, Jehovah's witnesses religion is no secret, go to http://www.watchtower.org don't believe lies especially from drop out JW's who couldn't make the grade & are angry like Satan. wanting to harm people who only try to free people from the Antichrist. Jesus had the same problem, but (2 Thessalonians 2:3-12) . . .Let no one seduce YOU in any manner, because it will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness gets revealed, the son of destruction. 4 He is set in opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called “god” or an object of reverence, so that he sits down in the temple of The God, publicly showing himself to be a god. 5 Do YOU not remember that, while I was yet with YOU, I used to tell YOU these things? 6 And so now YOU know the thing that acts as a restraint, with a view to his being revealed in his own due time. 7

True, the mystery of this lawlessness is already at work; but only till he who is right now acting as a restraint gets to be out of the way. 8 Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence. 9 But the lawless one’s presence is according to the operation of Satan with every powerful work and lying signs and portents 10 and with every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth that they might be saved. 11 So that is why God lets an operation of error go to them, that they may get to believing the lie, 12 in order that they all may be judged because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness.

There is one major problem you have that NO ONE should be able to get by.. You believe Jesus was a created servant of God. The Bible and Jesus Himself says He is God..
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Your "translation" of this is so wrong no real scholar could agree with it..
John 8:58
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.
Exod 3:14
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
There Jesus claimed to be the I AM.. The I AM is God. The Jews knew what Jesus was claiming..
John 8:59
Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
They were going to stone Him because they thought He had a devil. The were going to stone Him because He claimed deity..
This mean you are stuck with three possibilities
1. Jesus was mad.
2. Jesus was a liar..
3. Jesus was who he claimed to be..
YOU Choose.. IHS Jim

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.
However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.
(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers
Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:
(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.
(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.
(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

i read all the answers to this posted question and i felt so bad that some people blatantly criticize a person or a certain group of people trying to live out what is written in the book of God... it doesn't surprise me though because Satan lives everywhere and is all around us trying to get as many followers while he still can... we can criticize anybody, any religious group but it doesn't make us any better than them... the more we crucify and criticize them, the more it will strengthen their faith and belief in God...

Selective amnesia. Jesus was tortured and killed for what he was and knew and taught others.
In the death camps of Germany in WWII, in the prisons of the dictatorships of Africa, Far East and South America, all that is required to get out of such torture was to salute Hitler or perform some act of worship to the state and they would be let free. They never did. They endured torture rather than compromise their faith. They had integrity.
While not the only thing proving JWs teach the truth, it is one thing pointing in the right direction.

Wrong. JWs are scorned by Christians world wide because they do NOT teach the truth like Jesus did. Sorry. You had to go and ask.
But there's not enough space to give you all the inconsistencies between the JW doctrine and the Bible, so I would recommend you read a book called "Kingdom of the Cults" by Walter Martin to get the complete scoop. -
You might want to read John 1:1 and 1:14 and Hebrews 1 (the entire first chapter).
Oh, and if you scorn and criticize Walter Martin without first reading his book, does that mean that HE presented the truth in his book? He only uses direct quotes from the actual teachings of the different cults that he exposes.
He doesn't make anything up from his own imagination. Then he places the quotes side-by-side next to what the Bible says so you can see for yourself that it contradicts the Bible.

Rance D pointed out a logical fallacy that you (sorry, looks like we are capitalizing certain words here so YOU) need to pay attention to. This is a typical tactic of Jehovah's Witnesses, and the Scripture "proofs" YOU provide do not support YOUR argument at all.

No you are scorned because you only have one life on this Earth, and YOUR WASTING IT AWAY!!!!! No birthdays, no holidays, no celebration. What is life, when you can't be thankful and celebrate the precious moments?
So yea, if I were you, I'd feel a little scorned.
If every religion would stop preaching the, mine is right so it's best crap, people would get along easier. It's like were eternally stuck cheering for our high school football team.
The reason this argument will go on forever is everyone's right, no one is wrong on this issue. You believe what your heart tells you to believe. No one can be wrong for the path they choose.

Calm down! Lots of religions, including mine (Mormon) all believe we are teaching the absolute truth - and we are all scorned by different people.
We each have our individual beliefs and faith. We all know people who have dropped out of our religions and then do all they can to damage it.
I personally have lots of JW friends. I also take the Watch Tower. I have problems with the implications and some of your beliefs, just as you probably do with mine, but anger or getting upset doesn't solve anything. Jesus was and is also embraced aswell as scorned. He never waivered.
Stay strong in your faith - if you have a true testimony, nothing will shake you, even those who berate you.

Um... Forgive my curiosity in this matter, but when the hell did Jehovah's Witnesses start believing in the antichrist? I'm pry sure I never heard anything like that in any meeting and certainly never read anything like that in the New World translation of the Bible... Apostacy you say? Miss kettle paging Mr pot methinks...
