I have a lady "friend" and she always tells me she'll call, but never ends up doing it. I called her out on that and told her I don't like when people constantly flake and can't keep their word. I also told her that I don't wanna be the one who always has to take initiative for us to get in touch. I wanna have a 2 sided relationship and expressed this to her more than once. It's like she does'nt even care and just keeps on doing it knowing that I don't like that. She responded and said, "You've known me for over a year." You need to grow up and stop complaining about that. Get over it! I am what I am." I can't believe she had the nerve to get an attitude over that. I even asked her not to do that the nicest way that I knew how. I understand it's not a big deal, but it is a little disrespectful for her to treat me that way. How would you folks handle it? Just like to see how different folks think.

Dude, typical girl move when they have lost interest. You have become a bother to her ..a nuisance ... women are incapable of just saying get lost so they will play games, make excuses and try to get you to dump them so they can feel better about themselves. My bet is she is interested in someone else but she is stringing you along just in case. If she wanted a doormat then she should go to Target. Just stop calling her, be strong..I mean no contact. Move on and let her live with her miserable self.... Do not be a fool for love... she does not like you.

Hon she's givin alot of problem and is quite inconsiderate. What i think you should do, if u can ofcourse, is to stick out also. Try not calling her for a week, if there is a problem there u get to see if it bothers her that way she can feel what you feel when she does it. Also if she does not have a problem, clearly there is someone else occupying her time and you should try and see whats what and maybe you just leave her alone. Because she not hearing from u does not bothers her she might not be interesting in you anymore.

You made your point of view known, in a nice way, and she blew you off, and pretty much called you a child. I think maybe you don't have a two sided relationship- you seem willing to work on it, she doesn't. I wouldn't call her for awhile and see what happens- she may break down and call if you distance yourself. If she doesn't, well perhaps she really isn't that much of a lady, or a friend.

Hey, atleast she's honest with you. You should appreciate that - it's hard to come by. It sounds like you really need a new lady friend. She doesn't want any more from you, and she doesn't even respect you enough to care whethere you want more or to even deny you in a nice way. I say be done.

i am like that a little, but i don't mean to offend anyone by it. the reason why u r so concern is because she is more than a lady friend to u. i think u r in love with her and u don't even know it . if u like her just tell her that she is hurting u by doing so.

The same has happened to me... he just wouldn`t call me no matter what.. And I called him every single day.... But one day I decided not to call him, no matter how hard I wanted to..... And the next day I also decided not to call him.... After a few days, he called me, and now he calls me every single day (unless I call him, which happens every two, three days)...
But if she doesn`t call you, it would mean that she doesn`t care, so you know the rest.... Don`t humiliate yourself, and don`t let her feel like she owns you....

She is right: You know what she is like so just accept it, or don't , and leave. You can't change anyone, so tough luck. She might change her tune if you tell her that you will wait for her, and then really does wait for her, but don't hold your breath...

i said the same thing to my boyfriend,
and i know it's really disrespectful, but girls can feel that the boyfriend tries to 'change' them.
and girls really hate that.
if it is the way she is, and if she's not changing her behaviour even though you have expressed that you don't appreciate that, i guess it is the way she is..
