How many of our sins were "past sins" when Christ paid for them on the cross? Mine were all future sins at that point. If God can only save me from past sins then I guess everyone who sinned after approx 30 ad is bound for hell with no hope? Is this true?

When we place our faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, ALL of our sins are forgiven. That includes past, present, and future, big or small. Believers do not have to keep asking for forgiveness or repenting in order to have their sins forgiven. Jesus died to pay the penalty for all of our sins, and when they are forgiven, they are all forgiven (Colossians 1:14; Acts 10:43).

It seems that some Christians miss the point of the Gospel. When a person believes in Jesus as their savior, they pass from death into life there and then. Their whole life was judged and their sins, past, present, and future are all forgiven. At the point of belief, we are "sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption" i.e. sealed forever. The Father placed all the sin of mankind on Jesus as He hung on the cross (the sin of the whole world) When we believe, we have become "born again" which happens when the Holy Spirit enters in to the person. we are born into the family of God. To repent simply means to change your mind about God. I hope this helps!

Sounds logical to me, how can forgive what hasn't already happened. If you can then you knew they were gonna happen and you didn't stop them well that makes big ol God an accessory to these crimes now doesn't it. God really isn't all he is cracked up to be. He can't even come down for a visit once in awhile he is so afraid of sin. Lmao... Complete and utter nonsense.

Jesus laid down His life, as the only human to ever live who was utterly perfect. He was both wholly God, and wholly man. It is impossible for us to understand God fully, but if we sinning hating humans could understand Him, what kind of a pathetic God would He be??!!!!!! Jesus died gor everyone's sins, past and present. In no way are you bound for hell if you wish to go to heaven. All you have to do is believe that God can save you from punishment from your sins, and ask Him for tht forgiveness. He has promised it to those tht ask. If u believe that Jesus lived in a.d. 0 to a.d 30 (very roughly of course) then your source must be the Bible. If you believe Jesus' death can forgive past sins, then you must believe He is Holy. You must believe in what he taught. Jesus teaches that God has more love for each individual one of us than we can ever comprehend. Would He let sum1 He luvs tht much go to hell with no "escape"? No

all sins are "past...if you haven't done the act yet then you haven't sinned yet. A future sin is only a thought until it's committed silly rabbit.
PS: where did you get that stuff...pretty good huh.

No.

We are forgiven all sins, past, present, and future, all sins no matter what they are, if we believe that Jesus, who is God, died on the cross for our sins and rose again.

No, goofball. He died for the sins of mankind. In the past, present, and future. But you have to be sorry for your sins too.

you aren't serious are you?!
we are all saved from our sins - since we have already done them they are all past. you can't be forgiven for sins of the future becuase -- if you know it's a sin in advance you shouldn't do it.

No. Christ died once for all. You are forgiven as soon as you honestly believe that He's forgiven you and are willing to live the transformed life, with Jesus as LORD.
