Personally - I don't find it funny either. Some people find different types of things funny I suppose, but I can't really see what is remotely funny about a child being hurt or killed.
Chances are, others were actually a bit repulsed by her sense of humour as well, but due to peer pressure, just went along with it and laughed even though they may have been thinking otherwise.

There was a time I might have entered into this, but that was when I was in junior high school, trying to show how tough I wanted people to think I was. That sense of "humor" is a sure sign of immaturity, if you ask me.

you can get called uptight or whatever but things like that really aren't funny and some people just have a sick sense of humour.

I think you should always be true to yourself and your morals. If you didn't find the sick joke funny, then don't laugh. But it would have been rude to give a rude stare, other then that you’re not obligated to laugh.

I agree, don't think it is funny. Some people are just very immature and this girl obviously does not treasue children as important life. I would never joke about a child in such a mannor.
