surlygurl: you know how they say if you do not have anything nice to say not to say anything. Well then I have nothing to say to you. that was a typo not a spelling error. I was just typing fast and I hit the keys in the wrong order. But I will not say what I want to becasue I would be in violation then.

You would think the world is heating up every year, but since 1998, the Earth has been cooling down.

the corporate media brainwashes anybody, it does not %. on liberals. The brainwashing isn't all at a conscious point, in case you watch any mainstream media you have been contaminated. that contains fake. the international warming stuff is starting to be older. definite, I even have heard that the "Powerz" are utilising this as an excuse to enforce "international governance". it may additionally be actual, and it does sound attainable. on account that i'm no longer actually "in the super club" to quote George Carlin, it particularly is unlikely that i will ever understand for confident. I even have yet to work out a concise scientific evidence exhibiting the thermodynamic consequence of CO2 in the ambience and precisely the way it motives international warming. i'm fairly confident one in each of those evidence does no longer exist. If it does exist i could be happy to evaluate it. It particularly does no longer count how accepted this concept is or isn't with scientists or anybody else. What concerns is evidence, and the burden of evidence is with the proponents of a concept, no longer its critics.

The media and all the fear-mongering types are using only partial data which accentuates results seeming to uphold their agenda.
Their agenda, BTW, is to convert the U.S.A. to socialism and bring our great country under the auspices of the U.N., then to enact a global tax on carbon usage (a money and power grab) thus driving us all back into the age of serfdom under a communist rule.

Here is truth about global warming:

Global warming is one-half of the climatic cycle of warming and cooling.
The earth's mean temperature cycles around the freezing point of water.
This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.
Our planet is currently emerging from a 'mini ice age', so is
becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).
As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat 'conveyor' which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).
When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.

It's been happening for millions of years.

The worrisome and brutal predictions of drastic climate effects are based on computer models, NOT CLIMATE HISTORY.
As you probably know, computer models are not the most reliable of sources, especially when used to 'predict' chaotic systems such as weather.

Global warming/cooling, AKA 'climate change':
Humans did not cause it.
Humans cannot stop it.

Algore says"I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous it is"

I guess that means you lie and exaggerate.

Media slight of hand;

Showing clips of cooling towers on cold mornings with large amounts of steam(H20) boiling out while they talk about the dangers of CO2. That seems to be popular.
But if you actually listen and pay attention to the narration while the video rolls you can pick up on a lot of unassociated propaganda

Liberal media like the National Review? (Google it if you don't know that it's a leading conservative magazine, founded by William F. Buckley, Jr.) If you don't know who he is....

"National Review published a cover story this past week calling on conservatives to shake off denial and get into the climate policy debate"

Or FoxNews?

"While evidence suggests fluctuations in solar activity can affect climate on Earth, and that it has done so in the past, the majority of climate scientists and astrophysicists agree that the sun is not to blame for the current and historically sudden uptick in global temperatures on Earth, which seems to be mostly a mess created by our own species."

Don't you think you are wasting a lot of precious time in your life? If you don't believe in global warming that's your perogitive, but why don't you spend your life working towards something you are truely passionate about.
Life's not that long, and if you talk to older people (above the age of 55) and ask them about their regrets in life, many say they wish they had spent more time doing things that really mattered. And what really matters? It depends on what is important to you; virtues, values, morals and personal expectations.
How much does complaining about something you don't believe in really matter to you?

Since global warming hasn't begun since Americans started driving cars and being industrious...they're under the impression that cave men were driving around in SUVs. Y'know, since the ice age has ended which is an example of global warming.

They don't even acknowledge that there is still a debate as to if global warming is man made.

Many scientists do not buy into man made global warming, but you don't hear much about it in the media.

They report on findings that support their theory and don't report on the ones that don't support them. It is called selective reporting.
