We saw this show on discovery channel a cple weeks ago about this kid who was using these two metal sticks and after he was done he almost got possesed. So my bf thinks that all this stuff is a big joke cause hes a biologist and he knows everything! Anyways he went on ebay and bought some. Then he started walking around his apt saying nonsense chants and making the poles touch. Well I have noticed over the past week that he is not him self. He has been looking really tired. I asked him what was wrong and he was like nothing just cant seem to sleep. He told me he keeps having these weird dreams. So I slept over at his place and I couldnt sleep either. I kept having dreams of this demon chasing me and my bf. The worst one was a dream of my bf sleeping and this demon standing over him. The demon turned around and saw me watching and just started to laugh. Im freaking out now! Is this just cowincdence that were having the same kind of dreams or should I be worried? Advice?

you are playing with witchcraft.....and ....yes , you can become possessed......especially since I do not think you are saved..since a saved person would not do this....
I am a scientist too.....and it does not matter that your bf is a biologist.....science studies the physical world......you are dealing with the spiritual world, which goes by a different set of rules.
burn the stuff you have.....I do not mean throw it in the trash......I mean take it outside and burn it...when you bring items of witchcraft into your home.... you are opening the door - ie.. welcome mat - for demons to show up.
then repent before God for the sin of witchcraft....and rebuke any spirits in the house in the name of Jesus.....do this until you feel better..... they do not like to leave once they are there...so you have to be persistent.....good luck

I don't care what people think of this response. It is possible to be possessed. I truly hope that is not the case. I think that we don't really think about the spiritual battle that goes on around us every day. When you play with fire you may get burned. I don't know if you attend church anywhere, but I would find someone to talk to. Some churches shrug this kind of stuff off. I hope you can find someone to talk to.

If Demons are there go about from room to room and say from your heart, by the authority of Jesus' Christ, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus," say it again, again."
Demonic spirits can not abide in the same room or home where the belief of Jesus is the authority figure in your life.
If you are a believer in Christ then you know that demonic spirits are real.

The dreams would be more a representation of the fact that you expected him to get possessed.

I would say PRAY. Talk to a Priest. I know that would freak me out. I would be praying like wild and asking for any and all spiritual help that I could get. I just prayed for you and your boyfriend. I asked God to bless you and take away this presence from you and your boyfriend.
