Does anyone work/know someone who works at The Body Shop?
Because on Sunday I'm going to a group interview with them, and im nervous.
I was wondering if there is someone that could tell me about the work experience/environment there? And the interview- what kind of stuff do they ask? Is it a nice place to work for? How much do they pay to start? Is cosmetology background necessary?

Any little bits of help would be amazing.

Love, Lee

I would go through the website and have a working knowledge of the categories at the store (body products, makeup, perfumes, etc.). Know what the newest products are, and maybe some of the names (being able to name three products and discuss them would be sufficient). Show interest in the Body Shop philosophy--sustainability, sourcing ingredients (such as shea butter) from indigenous people, etc. You don't need to have specific cosmetology experience but rather show an eagerness to learn new information and be helpful to customers. Think of some "what if" questions: what is a customer asks for a product but can't remember the name, how would you help? How should you approach customers (greet them)? And also think of 2-3 questions to ask THEM. Body Shops are usually great places to work, but most are franchises so it's no the same everywhere. I just love the smells in the store! Good luck on your interview.
